I think much of the credit goes to the dyer for creating such a fabulous yarn, though - it was a joy to knit with. It took about 3 weeks, on and off. I think it could be done more quickly, though - one skein of sock yarn made for a smallish, shoulder-shawl rather than a full-size one (although, I do now like the idea of doing another one with two skeins - imagine how striking!), and it’s a very simple pattern, it just had other things competing with it for my non-work time.
